The Ludington Center is a collaborative community space for Albion College and the business and civic endeavors of the City of Albion. More specifically, it is for college programming, professional events, business events, education and economic development-related programming.

All groups with reserved space must check in at the reception desk upon arrival and departure.
All space reservations are managed by Albion College with priority given to the College, City of Albion, and business community activities. When not reserved, spaces are open. Reservations are not confirmed unless you have received an email from the campus scheduler* stating that your request is confirmed for a particular space and date.

Albion College reservations for space for classes and ongoing activities at the Ludington Center should be made 3-6 months in advance. Requests should be made to Karen Hiatt for College events and activities; requests for classes should be submitted to Drew Dunham, Registrar.
Albion College use also accounts for usage by organizations that are using the space in collaboration with an office of the College. This must be official business and should not include mere affiliation with an organization.
Select rooms are available for reservation/rental by third parties. Third party reservations should be made two weeks or more prior to event date. Payment is due at time of signed rental agreement for third party rentals.
Below please find a fee structure for for-profit organizations reserving space at the Ludington Center. Please note, for groups of 10+, food and beverages must be provided by Albion College Dining Services (contact and additional information below).
The fee structure for non-profits and government organizations is currently under review and will be in place January 1, 2018. With proof of non-profit status (501(c)(3) or IRS documentation of status), no fees will be assessed for non-profits until that time. Albion College recognizes the rich opportunities that come as a result of strong collaborative relationships. These relationship are important to the College regardless of an organization's ability to pay for space in the Ludington Center. The usage fees may present a financial hardship to some organizations and the College has the ability to offer credits (or grants towards building usage) to some organizations.
If you are requesting a usage grant, please submit your request and indicate how room fees are a financial hardship for your organization and approximately how much you plan to use the space.
Please note that any grants approval cannot include any waiver for the catering requirements.
The non-profit price is half that (50% discounted rate) of the for-profit price, for example making the classroom just a $25/hr charge.
