Stephen Greenhalgh graduated from Albion in 1974. Upon graduation he continued his education attaining, his degree as a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Washington & Lee University Law School in 1977. Mr. Greenhalgh is an attorney and partner at Bodman PLC, in Detroit, Michigan.
Mr. Greenhalgh’s expertise consists of banking law, corporate, law, and real estate law with substantial experience in securities law. He is affiliated with the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association and had been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
While attending Albion, Mr. Greenhalgh played baseball for the Britons; in 1999, he and his 1971 MIAA championship team were inducted into the Albion College Athletic Hall of Fame.
Over the years, Mr. Greenhalgh has been an active participant in the Albion College community. He has served on various committees including the Campaign Leadership committee and the Detroit Event committee. Mr. Greenhalgh supported the Julian Rammelkamp endowed professorship drive and is currently serving as the Alumni Annual Fund Chair.
Stephen and his wife, Susan (a 1975 alumna), have supported additional campus projects including the Science Complex renovation and the Morely Fraser Field Drive. They wife have two daughters, Meghan and Elyse, both of whom attended private, liberal arts colleges. They reside in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
