Welcome! Each week, we will be updating this article to feature a new wellness-related trivia question. The idea is for the campus community to view this article each week and email their individual answers to Amanda Weaver (acw11). We will keep track of the numbers of faculty/staff and students who answer the question correctly. At the end of this fall semester, we will reveal the total number of faculty/staff and students who knew their wellness stuff! Each participant on the winning team (faculty/staff versus students) will recieve an exciting prize! Hint: Keep an eye on the daily Wellness Tidbits - some of the trivia questions may be taken from these!

Last week's answer:

A: Exercise can help people to eliminate the need for blood pressure medications, as well as decrease LDL cholesterol, increase HDL cholesterol, and decrease fat (triglycerides).

Congratulations to the faculty/staff! They won last semester's competition with a score of 16, compared to the student's 12. I will be emailing all participants soon to discuss prizes!

Competition for next semester will begin the week of January 16, 2012. Let's make it a goal to get more people involved!
