TWIST Parents Expectations

1.  You are responsible for transporting your children to and from the program. Your children should arrive at the program between 8:45-9:00 A.M.

2. All children are expected to be in attendance at the program 100% of the time. If students cannot be in attendance, the Activity Director should be given written notice. Please list all dates that you will miss. Also, if a child is ill, please call TWIST and let us know. We like to keep track of all participants!

3. Parents are welcome to visit any session of the TWIST. If you are interested, please stop by the TWIST office and get a visitor's pass. Adults without a pass will not be permitted to visit, in order to ensure the programs safety.

4. Only registered participants may attend TWIST program.

5. Children should dress appropriately for physical activity in the outdoors.

6. Students should not bring food, money, radios, video games, cell phones, pagers, or any other valuable items to TWIST.

7. Participants may not leave program before 2:00 p.m. without written permission from a parent or guardian.

8. NO smoking, drinking, and/or use of other chemical substances on the TWIST grounds.

9. Participants and their parents will be held responsible for any malicious destruction of TWIST property.

10. Participants shall not make any threatening, vulgar, or obscene communications of any kind.

11. Participants are expected to keep their hands to themselves and follow the safety instructions of the TWIST staff.

12. Participants should not wear nor have in their possession any clothing, jewelry, or other symbols that are evidence of membership or affiliation with any gang.
