An environmental setting for up to 150 people, the Black Box features a two-story-high grid, and a gallery surrounding the entire space allowing for virtually any imaginable arrangement of stage and audience.

Kresge Dance Studio
While the dance performances take place on the Herrick Mainstage, all dance classes are held in the Ferguson Dance Studio in Kresge Gym. The studio is equipped with a fully sprung hardwood floor, full-length floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and an excellent sound system.
