Mae Harrison Karro Village (The Mae)
The Mae Harrison Karro Student Residential Village, commonly called “The Mae,” is considered a privileged housing option for senior-level men and women. Located on the corner of Erie and Mingo streets, The Mae is in an ideal, centralized location for its residents.
Of the 13 apartments available between the four different buildings, there are:
- 2 six-person units (three double rooms/each)
- 7 four-person units (two double rooms/each)
- 4 four-person units (four single rooms/each)
Each apartment has a living room, dining room area, kitchen, bathroom, and corresponding bedrooms. Kitchen appliances include a dishwasher, refrigerator, and garbage disposal. Students are encouraged to bring their own pots, pans, plates, flatware, and silverware as needed. Each bedroom has a bed, three-drawer dresser, desk and desk chair, bookcase/shelf, and a network connection per student. All College furniture must remain in the apartment for the duration of the academic year. There is telephone and cable TV hookup available in each bedroom and a cable jack in the living room. The apartment is carpeted except in the kitchen and bathroom where vinyl covers the floor. Each apartment is air-conditioned as well.
Laundry facilities are available in Building 2. The washers and dryers have been upgraded and now require your Albion1Card to operate: $1.25 to wash and $1.25 to dry.
Durring Room Selection, students must apply in groups of four or six for this housing option. Students must be in good social and academic standing to reside in The Mae.
