Briton House Apartments
Briton House Apartments are College-owned apartments for junior- and senior-year students (both male and female) who are interested in living in a more independent environment than compared to traditional residence halls. Located at the corner of Erie and Huron streets, these six two-bedroom, one-bath apartments houses four students each (gender-specific).
Residents are responsible for the housekeeping in their individual apartments.
There are a total of six apartments. Apartments are furnished with two loveseats, a coffee table, cable TV hookup, dining room table and chairs. Each apartment has a kitchen equipped with a stove, sink with garbage disposal, dishwasher, and a refrigerator. Students should plan to bring their own cookware, dishware, and silverware. Each set of two apartments shares laundry equipment (washer and dryer).
Students interested in this option must apply in groups of four (same gender) during Room Selection.
The community space for the Briton House Apartments is limited. Two apartments share laundry equipment. The front yard is also an area where students can gather and enjoy the weather.
Each bedroom is equipped with a bed, dresser, desk and chair, bookcase/shelf, and access to the network per resident. Each room has cable television hookup, a phone, and mini-blinds. All College furniture must remain in the apartment for the duration of the academic year.
Students are not allowed to build their own lofts.
