Information: Taylor is a graduate student at Eastern Michigan University.  She is working on completing her Master’s practicum here at Albion’s Counseling Center. She completed her Bachelor degree in psychology from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor.  She has lived in Michigan her whole life, and loves the Great Lake State. She has cultivated a love for hiking in Michigan’s many trails, and loves being on the water. She also has a love for dogs, which led her to rescue her current pup, Georgia. Taylor is excited to have the opportunity to help make your college experience more manageable, whatever that may look like to you. She has a passion for utilizing mindful and acceptance based work into education and clinical practice. She believes in an individualized approach to therapy, which means it matters to her, greatly, who you are and how you see the world.

Kate Hibbard-Gibbons, M.A.

Information: Kate is working on her second year as a graduate trainee at Albion and is currently in her 4th year of her doctoral degree in counseling psychology at Western Michigan University. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Washington State University and her master’s degree in clinical psychology from University of Dayton. Kate has had three years of experience working in a college counseling setting.  Her clinical interests include depression, anxiety, issues around eating and body image, family and other relationship concerns, transition and adjustment, and applied sports psychology, specifically focusing on collegiate student athletes. Kate is an advocate and ally for individuals who identify with racial/ethnic, gender, sexual orientation, religious/spiritual, and abled-body, or other cultural minority groups. Her other interests include competitive running, reading, nutrition, and fitness, and cooking. 

Casiana Warfield, B.A.

Information: Casiana is a graduate trainee in the process of completing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychological Science and Interpersonal Relations from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in 2015. Casiana has previous experience working with a variety of psychological presentations in a community mental health setting in Ypsilanti, Michigan. In addition, she was an undergraduate intern in a domestic violence shelter in Indiana. Her clinical interests include: trauma, the impact of culture on relationships, other relationship distress, sexual and gender identity concerns, anxiety, depression, and vocational issues. Casiana identifies as a feminist and is thus invested in equal access to and quality of mental health services for all persons including the entire spectrum of racial/ethnic, gender, sexual, and religious/spiritual identity. In her free time, Casiana enjoys live music, travel, playing piano and singing, Netflix, and cuddling with her two dogs and kitten.

Information: Theresa is a graduate trainee working to complete her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. She received her Master’s of Arts degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family therapy from Western Michigan University and has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan, Dearborn. Theresa has experience working in a variety of clinical settings. Her clinical interests include, but are not limited to the following: identity concerns, anxiety, depression, relational struggles, transition and adjustment issues, and trauma recovery. Theresa is an advocate and ally for individuals who identify with racial/ethnic, gender, sexual orientation, religious/spiritual, and abled-body, or other cultural minority groups. In her leisure, Theresa enjoys playing piano, archery, and making homemade greeting cards.
