Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR)

Welcome to SOAR!

From finding your way to knowing you belong.

Albion College. It’s a new chapter in your life story. You’ll start by finding your way. By finding your direction. (And finding your classes.) During these first weeks, you’ll find that your Albion education is amazingly valuable. And that the classroom is just the beginning. Getting to know Albion is only the first step to getting more out of college than you ever imagined.

Student Program

If you’re new to Albion, then you must attend our Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration program (SOAR), sponsored by the Campus Programs and Organizations Office (CPO).

During SOAR, you’ll explore and discover programs, resources, and support networks. Walk through our curriculum and learn about requirements for graduation—by major, minor, and concentration. And then register for classes for your first semester. Choose a session below and register today for your first step at Albion.

Parent Program

Talk with faculty. Meet our administrators. And introduce yourself to life at Albion College. The SOAR Parent Program is both vital and optional, and it runs parallel to the SOAR Student Program. Choose from a variety of sessions and bring your list of questions. One or both parents may attend, and we also welcome siblings, grandparents, and other important mentors. Choose a session below and register today.

Sessions Dates for Summer 2013
Session #1 Friday, May 31
Session #2 Monday, June 3
Session #3 Wednesday, June 5
August Session Thursday, Aug. 22
