Track & Field teams earn All-Academic status |

NEW ORLEANS - The Albion College men's and women's track & field teams have been designated as All-Academic teams for the 2008 season by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
With a team grade point average of 3.225, Albion was one of 57 Division III programs to make the list of men's All-Academic teams. The Britons were one of two teams from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association to achieve All-Academic team status. Dave Egnatuk, '71, is the head coach of the men's track & field program at Albion.
With a team grade point average of 3.360, Albion was one of 93 Division III programs to make the list of women's All-Academic teams. The Britons, who are coached by Hayden Smith, '70, also earned a MIAA Team GPA award for their work in the classroom during the 2007-2008 academic year.
