Albion Bows To Alma In Volleyball

There were long rallies, but Albion College was unable to frustrate the Alma College hitters in a three-set Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association volleyball match. Alma swept the Britons by scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-14. Haley Gitre played two sets and she collected a team-high 13 digs. Kayla Gustitus pounded six kills and a block assist. Albion will take a break from league play Friday and Saturday to compete in the Midwest Invitational at Grand Rapids.
