Whiffletree Hill Golf Course is the site of Albion College's home cross country meets. The course has hosted numerous conference duals and championships, and served as the site of the 1989, 1993 and 1998 National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III Great Lakes Regionals.
Whiffletree Hill is located on M-60, approximately two miles west of Concord, Michigan, and four miles east of Homer, and six miles southeast of Albion's campus. Here are easy ways to get to the course:
From The East: Take I-94 west to Exit 136 (M-60/Spring Arbor). Go west on M-60 through Spring Arbor and Concord. The golf course is on the north side (right) of the road, just before you get to the Calhoun-Jackson County line.
From The West: Take I-94 west to I-69 south. Go south on I-69 to Exit 25 (M-60/Three Rivers). Go east on M-60 through Homer. The golf course is on the north side (left) of the road, just beyond 30 Mile Road (the Calhoun-Jackson County line).
From The North: Two routes are available from Lansing. I-69 south goes past Olivet and Marshall to Exit 25 (M-60/Three Rivers). From there, go east on M-60 to the golf course. The alternate route is M-99, which goes through Eaton Rapids, Springport and Albion before connecting with M-60 west of Concord. Turn left at the intersection and go two miles east to the golf course.
From The South: Two routes are available. I-69 north from the Indiana state line goes past Coldwater and Tekonsha to Exit 25 (Jackson/Three Rivers). Go east on M-60 from there. The alternate route is M-99, which goes through Hillsdale, Jonesville and Litchfield before intersecting with M-60 at Homer. Turn right at the intersection (east) and follow M-60 to Whiffletree Hill.
