USTFCCCA Grants All-Region Status to Three Runners

Photograph by Penny Smith.The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released Tuesday, Nov. 15, the list of NCAA Division III athletes achieving all-region distinction after finishing among the top 35 in the Nov. 12 regional meets. All-region status was conferred on three Albion College runners – Lauren Kettle, ’15, Paul Lewis, ’14, and Amanda Weaver, ’13.
Kettle, a native of Milford, was the 16th women to complete the Great Lakes regional course at Oberlin, Ohio, reaching the finish line in 22:16.63. She was followed closely by Marshall resident Weaver, who posted a 22nd-place time of 22:25.11.
Lewis, a product of Albion, qualified to run as an individual in the NCAA Division III Championships with a run of 25:28.38 which was good for 14th place.
