Rewa Selected to BCAM Academic-Athletic Honors Team

Albion College senior center Patty Rewa likely picked up her final collegiate award Wednesday when she was named to the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan’s Academic-Athletic Honors Team. The Greenville product was a two-time all-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association first team pick that finished her career as Albion’s sixth-leading scorer with 1,088 points.

The Albion College women's basketball team had a number of highlights during its 18-8 season. Seniors Patty Rewa and Nicole Dennis were selected to the all-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association teams.

Patty Rewa is sixth on Albion's all-time scoring list.Albion College was rewarded for its third-place finish in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association by placing seniors Patty Rewa and Nicole Dennis on the all-league teams released Tuesday by league publicist Greg Chandler.
