Orr Included on D3football.com's Team of the Week

Photograph by Lowell McGinnis.Albion College capped the regular season with a 41-14 victory over Trine University to clinch its 34th Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association football championship and Clinton Orr gained recognition as a member of the Team of the Week compiled by the D3football.com website.

Orr, a junior running back from Buchanan, became Albion’s career rushing leader and clinched his second-straight MIAA rushing title (832 yards on 132 carries in six MIAA contests) by gashing Trine for 200 yards on 28 carries. Orr also caught two passes for 15 yards against Trine.

Albion will represent the MIAA in the NCAA Division III Championship. The Britons’ road through the 32-team bracket begins at 1 p.m. Eastern Time Saturday, Nov. 19, against the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, the two-time defending Division III National Champion and owner of a 40-game winning streak.
