2004 Season RecapThe Albion College women’s golf team finished third in the MIAA, posting a 351.6-stroke average in five league rounds. Sophomore AnnMarie Jasieniecki finished third overall in the 36-hole MIAA Championships, posting a weekend total of 164. She achieved all-MIAA first team honors as she held the sixth-best scoring average in the league with an 84.8-stroke average. Senior Lindsay Drewes and sophomore Elizabeth Kreger were awarded all-MIAA second team status. Drewes totaled an 86.8-stroke average—good enough for ninth overall in the MIAA. Kreger compiled an 87.8-stroke average. Jared Schock completed his first season as head coach. 2004 Season RecapAlbion held off Calvin in a spirited competition for fourth place in the MIAA. The Britons completed the eight league rounds in 2,566 strokes while the Knights finished with 2,570. Junior Eric Drogosch narrowly missed repeating as an all-MIAA performer. His 77.8-stroke average ranked him 14th in the league, but the 12 players with the lowest scoring averages are accorded all-league status. His average was four-tenths off the pace of the 12th-ranked golfer in the MIAA. Senior Jason Ryan also turned in a fine season, posting a 79.8-stroke average. Mike Turner, ’69, was the coach.
