The countdown to kickoff begins

The countdown to the kickoff of the Albion College football season began Friday as more than 110 Britons practiced under sunny skies at Alumni Field. Albion will play three of its four non-league games at Sprankle-Sprandel Stadium during the month of September, starting with a Sept. 6 date with Butler University. Alumni should mark their calendar for the Homecoming game against Central (Iowa) College on Sept. 27. Alumni Field and Kresge Gymnasium will be buzzing with activity next week as the cross country, women's soccer, and volleyball teams report to campus on Sunday. The men's soccer team, fresh off a tour of Europe, will check in on Monday.
