Track & Field athletes return to Illinois |

Three Albion College track & field athletes competed in the Gregory Invitational in Naperville, Ill., Thursday night. Andrew Hecker threw the javelin 161' 11". Jenna Morse posted a mark of 111' 10" in the discus throw, and Shauna Paradine completed the 5,000-meter run in 19:13.13. Click here for the men's results from Thursday. Three Britons tabbed for all-MIAA baseball awards |

 John Fileccia won 14 games against MIAA rivals in his career. Albion College placed three scholar-athletes on the all-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association baseball teams released by the league publicist Monday, May 12. Senior pitcher John Fileccia will receive a plaque designating his selection to the first team, and junior outfielder Bobby Clouse and junior pitcher Ryan Gunderson will receive certificates designating their selections to the second team.

Nyika sprints to first place in the 200 in Illinois |

Albion College senior Michael Nyika sprinted his way to first way in the 200-meter dash at the Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central College on Friday. His time of 22.05 seconds fell short of the provisional qualifying standard for the NCAA Division III Championships. Nyika will have another opportunity at North Central College next weekend as the school hosts the Gregory Invitational. Click here for the men's results. Click here for the women's results.
