Directions to Albion College

Albion College is located in the city of Albion, Michigan. Albion is in southcentral Michigan, on the south side of Interstate 94 between the cities of Jackson (east/15 minutes) and Battle Creek (west/25 minutes). Detroit is approximately two hours east from Albion. Chicago is three hours west. Amtrak (passenger trains) and Greyhound (bus) make daily stops in Albion. Three major airports, Detroit Metropolitan (Romulus), Capital City (Lansing) and Kalamazoo-Battle Creek International (Kalamazoo) are within a 90-minute drive.
• From I-94/Exit 121 (West to East/Eaton Ave./28 Mile Road):
South on Business I-94 to Michigan Avenue (M-99 East). Turn left (east). The College is between Huron and Mingo streets. The main streets through campus are Hannah (north-south) and Cass and Porter (east-west).
• From I-94/Exit 124 (East to West/M-99):
West on M-99, also Michigan Avenue.
• From M-99 (South to North/Superior Street/Downtown):
Turn east on Erie (south end of campus/Dow Center/Sprankle-Sprandel Stadium) or Cass (center of campus/Kresge Gymnasium) or Michigan Avenue (north end of campus).
• To Sprankle-Sprandel Stadium/Alumni Field/Dow Center/Ungrodt Tennis Center:
Take Michigan Avenue to Hannah Street south through campus. The stadium is on the east side of Hannah Street, between the Kalamazoo River (south) and the Norfolk Southern tracks (north).
From the south, turn east from Superior Street onto Erie (first stoplight approaching the downtown from the south). The stadium and Dow Center is on the south side of Erie Street.
• To Kresge Gymnasium:
Take Michigan Avenue to Huron Street south. Kresge Gymnasium is on the east side of Huron between Cass Street (north) and the Norfolk Southern tracks (south). The main entrance is on the east side of the building.
From the south, turn east from Superior Street onto Cass (second stoplight on Superior coming from the south). Turn right (south) at Huron Street (Kresge Gymnasium would be immediately to your left), or go straight on Cass (Kresge would be on the right, next to the Seeley Mudd Learning Center).
