Service Project Appalachia (SPA) provides students with an active and challenging spring break that benefits low-income communities. We spend the fall and winter fund-raising to keep costs down- the trip normally costs less than $50.  During the trip we engage in many activities, from painting to light construction work to kitchen clean-up.  We also use an afternoon to enjoy the beauty of the state parks in the region.  The main focus, however, is helping those without all the benefits that we, as college students, enjoy.  This year there is room for 20 students to attend.  SPA is an amazing alternative spring break.  Since the spots are limited those students who have the most attendance and fundraising are given priority.  Please sign up today!

Meetings for the fall semester will be held on Sunday @ 10pm in the Kellogg Center living room.  If you would like more information or would like to be on put on the mailing list, please email Lindsay.
