Directions for Goal Worksheet - Reflection Option #1

As part of The Sleight Servant Leadership Program you will complete all of your reflections as part of your Digital Portfolio.  The following exercise should be posted under the "Academic" section of your portfolio.  The examples below will help you get started in thinking about your own goal.  You can then import a blank template for inclusion on your personal webpage. As you start thinking about your goal statement, remember the SMART formula.  Goals should be:

Specific – Really spell out what you want to accomplish.
Measurable – Make sure you have a way of knowing you’ve reached your goal.
Attainable – Your goal needs to be something that you can actually achieve.
Realistic – It’s OK to dream big, but don’t frustrate yourself by setting goals or giving yourself timelines that can’t happen.
Timely – Make sure your goal fits with where you are right now in regards to your academic and career plans.
