Cheryl Krause, R.N.,C., Assistant Director

Cheryl Krause is a resident of Albion. She grew up in Livonia, where her parents and sisters still reside. She received her Nursing degree in 1978 from Henry Ford Hospital School of Nursing and became certified in College Health Nursing in 2005. Since becoming an R. N., Cheryl has lived and worked in many areas of the state. She has a special interest in Women's Health and Emergency Medicine. Cheryl is married to Eric Krause and has a daughter who graduated from Albion College in 2005 and two other college-age children. She is currently serving as a member of the City Council in Albion.  In her leisure time she enjoys sewing, quilting, camping, and spending time with her family and her black lab.

Dr. Martin Holmes is a native of New York State. He received his B.S. from St. Lawrence University in New York and his M.D. from Queen's University in Ontario, where he also completed a teaching fellowship. He completed his family practice residency with Kingston Gen. & Hotel Dieu Hospitals, also in Ontario. Dr. Holmes practiced in Canada for 25 years and in the Albion/Parma areas for over 6 years. Dr. Holmes is married and has four children in the Springport School District.

Tom Reeves is a native of the Albion area and a graduate from Albion High School. He spent four years in the Navy and then graduated with his BSN from Arizona State University in 1981. He has been in health care in various parts of the country including Scottsdale Memorial Hospital in Arizona, Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor. Tom received his Physician Assistant training from University of North Dakota in 1999. He has worked at Keefer Family Medicine for the past five years. Tom is married with four children.

Vivien McCurdy, RD, Dietician

Vivien McCurdy, RD, Dietician

Vivien McCurdy received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Acadia University in 1996. She then completed a post-graduate dietetic internship at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Prince Edward Island, Canada (graduating in 1998). During her internship, she completed a study on effects of a volunteer-based feeding assistance program on solid and liquid intake of residents under long-term care. Over the past eight years, Vivien has accumulated clinical counseling experience in a variety of areas, including: general healthy eating, weight loss issues, eating disorders, diabetes education, and maternal and infant nutrition. She also has extensive experience in food service management through her work at nursing facilities and hospitals. Vivien believes that all foods can be good and that the key of eating healthy is eating sensibly. She lives in Albion with her husband, Dr. Dean McCurdy (Biology Department), and her two children.
