Room Layout and Dimensions
Each residence hall room within the Albion College housing system is approximately 11' x 14' (rooms vary in exact size and shape). Diagrams give approximate sizes; please note that they are not drawn to scale.
Descriptions and/or room layouts are available for the buildings listed above. Some have more than one room configuration.
Room Furnishings
Each double room is equipped with two beds, two desks & chairs, two closets, one chest of drawers, a telephone with
private access to the College voice mail system, cable TV hookup, internet
connection (one port per resident), and draperies or mini blinds. All
College furniture must remain in the student's room for the duration of the academic year.
Mattresses are 80 inches long and 36 inches wide, so fitted sheets must be extra long to insure proper fit.
The use of nails (or anything that would produce holes) and double-sided tape are not permitted. Wall putty is available in the Albion College Bookstore.
Linen sales are sponsored by the Residence Halls Association. Information for these opportunities are mailed to students prior to the beginning of fall semester. If you have further questions, please call the Office of Residential Life.
