Located on the east side of campus, Mitchell Towers houses 237 upper-class students. This is a recently renovated, suite-style residence hall with double rooms connected by a bathroom. In addition, the entire building is smoke free.
Community Area
Mitchell Towers has many community areas in the building. The two
towers are connected by a lobby which has a pool table and a seating
area for relaxing or for last minute studying. On each floor, all
the rooms open to a large common area with tables and couches.
There is also a large basement with a large screen TV. Board games
and other supplies can be checked out of the RA Office. Mitchell
Towers has one kitchenette for occasional cooking and laundry facilities
are provided.
Bedroom Furnishings
Each double room is equipped with two beds, two desks & chairs, two closets,
two
chests of drawers, a telephone with access to the College voice mail system,
cable TV hookup, Internet connection, and mini blinds. All College
furniture must remain in the student's room for the duration of the academic
year.
Bed Lofts
Furniture in Mitchell Towers is modular and can be lofted or bunked in several
different configurations. See your Resident Assistant for the
lofting instruction booklet. Building your own loft is prohibited.
College Board Plan
Students residing in this housing option
are required to be on the College Board Plan.
Computer Labs
There is one computer lab, located in the center lobby area, with
multiple computers and one printer.
