Summer Housing 2008

Summer housing is only available to Albion College students enrolled for Fall Semester 2008. Living in College-owned residences is not required for students participating in summer school or FURSCA programs. Students living in Non-College owned housing do so at their own risk.  The College does not monitor safety and/or security of Non-College owned housing.

The primary summer housing facilities will be the Burns St. Apartments and Munger Place Apartments. Additional units can become added if demand requires it. All assignments are double occupancy. Students may preference a private room; but due to number of spaces for summer housing, requests may not be able to be honored.

A Board plan is not available during summer housing. Please note that meals and cooking supplies are the responsibility of the occupants. Students who will be participating in academic-related programs will get priority.

Students are not allowed to check-in to their summer housing space prior to Saturday, May 17, 2008 at noon and they will not be allowed to check-out after August 1, 2008.  A student’s check-in date must be no earlier than one day prior to the student’s programs start date (if start date is after May 19, 2008).  A student’s check-out date should be within 24 hours from the completion of the student’s program or classes.

Because of a lack of storage space and the short turn around time for preparing housing spaces, students are not allowed to remain on campus or store personal belongings on campus between the end of Spring Semester 2008 and the start of Summer Housing.

Applications for Summer Housing will be available in the Residential Life Office on Friday, March 28, 2008

All Summer Housing applications are due to the Residential Life Office on
