Step 2:  Select a Spokesperson for the Group.  Please select a representative from the group to be designated as the Spokesperson.  This person will be the liaison between the group and the Office of Residential Life through the housing selection process.

Step 3:  Select your top housing choices.  As a group, please select your top housing choices (minimum of 3 recommended) for housing and list them on the attached sheet (see attached samples for reference).  Please be sure that ALL group members meet the housing requirements for each housing choice.  If one member does not meet the requirements, the whole group will not be considered for that choice.

Step 4:  Complete the application completely.  You will need to list all those who are in a group and the groups housing choices.  Please print everyone’s information for every choice.  In some instances, the groups may have to split and EVERYONE needs to be accounted for even if they become a group of one. In addition to the group’s housing choice form, each individual within the group will need to fill out an individual waiver form and attach it to the group choice form. (See sample as a reference).

Step 5:  Return completed application by Wednesday, March 26, 2008.

Step 6:  Wait for notification from the Office of Residential Life on your housing placement.  If you do not get placed, you will receive further instructions on the other Room Selection & Housing Lottery Processes available to you.

Step 7:  Attend selection forum.  Spokesperson (as well as other group members) needs to attend the selection forum to select the group specific apartment and/or bedrooms for the unit that they have been selected.

IF YOU SHOULD HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE DO NOT HESISTATE TO CONTACT THE OFFICE OF RESIDENTIAL LIFE FOR INFORMATION.
