Fiske Christian House

Fiske Christian House consists of students from differing Christian traditions living together for the purpose of promoting understanding and facilitating events among the various Christian religious groups on campus. Residents of this hall will work together to sponsor campus wide programming; participate in weekly meetings; and perform monthly community service activities as a residence hall. 

Housing 21 residents; sophomores, juniors, and seniors, Fiske Christian House has double and triple occupancy rooms and community bathrooms. This residence hall is co-ed by floor and a substance free housing option. Selection of residents is made through an application process during the Room Selection/Lottery process. Residents will represent, as much as possible, the various Christian student groups/organizations on campus.

Students who live in Fiske Christian House enjoy the environment of a historic house with large rooms, plentiful windows, hardwood finishes, and a closed fireplace in each bedroom.

Community Area
Fiske Christian House has large hallways and a basement to provide gathering places for residents. A front porch and a smaller side porch offer outside space to enjoy the Albion weather. The building has a full kitchen, television, ping-pong table, and laundry equipment.

Bedroom Furnishings
Each double room is equipped with two beds, two desks & chairs, one wardrobe including drawers, a telephone with access to the College voice mail system, cable TV hookup, Internet connection, and mini blinds. All College furniture must remain in the student's room for the duration of the academic year.

Bed Lofts
Students are not allowed to build their own lofts.

College Board Plan
Students residing in this housing option are required to be on the College Board Plan.

Computer Labs
Fiske House does have one computer and one printer inside the building.
