Dean Hall
Dean Hall is a residence hall for upper-class women who are interested in a more
interdependent and community living
environment that is not available in the traditional residence halls. In addition, the
entire building is smoke-free.
Selection of residents is made through an application process during the Room
Selection/Lottery process. An applicant must be in good academic and social standing to be considered.
Community Area
Dean Hall has similar community areas to a normal residential house
including living room, dining room, and front yard space. These locations
provide space for students to study or socialize. Laundry equipment
is provided in Dean Hall.
Bedroom Furnishings
Each double room is equipped with two beds, two desks & chairs, closets,
two chest of drawers, a telephone with access to the College voice mail system,
cable TV hookup, Internet connection, and mini blinds. All College
furniture must remain in the student's room for the duration of the academic
year.
Bed Lofts
Students are not allowed to build their own lofts.
College Board Plan
Students residing in this housing
option are required to be on the college's 5-meal per
week board plan. With this plan, students can eat any five meals
per week using this Baldwin meal plan.
Computer Labs
There is one computer and one printer located in the living room
area of Dean Hall.
