Mae Harrison Karro Residential Village

The Mae Apartments

Erected in 2001, Mae Harrison Karro Residential Village consists of a series of four- and six-person apartments with each bedroom either being single- or double-occupancy. Each apartment has the following furnishings: one sofa, one loveseat (except in the six person apartment), two chairs and end tables, one coffee table, mini blinds and a dining table with chairs. Included appliances are a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. Mae Harrison Karro Residential Village apartments are carpeted, except for the kitchen and bathroom areas. Apartments also have individually controlled heating and air conditioning units. The Mae Harrison Karro Residential Village is for Albion College seniors only.

Community Area
The Mae Harrison Karro Residential Village is designed with community living in mind. Each of the four buildings has a community area. There is also an outside courtyard community area on the northwest side of the apartment complex. Building Unit #2  houses a community lounge, laundry washers and dryers for all Mae Harrison Karro Residential Village residents.

Bedroom Furnishings
Each room has one bed, dresser, desk, chair, and bookshelf per resident. Additionally, each room is equipped with a telephone with access to the College voice mail system, cable TV hookup, Internet connection, and mini blinds. All College furniture must remain in the student's room for the duration of the academic year.

Bed Lofts
Students are not allowed to build their own lofts.

College Board Plan
Students residing in this housing option are not required to be on the College Board Plan. If desired, students may purchase a College Board Plan by contacting the Office of Residential Life.

Computer Labs
There are no computer labs in this building. For students requiring access to a computer, the Ferguson Building computer lab is open 24 hours a day.
