Locked out of your building or room?

Students should carry their Albion College ID and room keys at all times. If a student is locked out of his or her room, the student should follow the procedures below for gaining admittance to his or her room.

During business hours (8 AM - 5 PM) on business days (Monday - Friday):

Any area that has Resident Assistant(s) or a Residence Hall Director within their buildings (e.g. Wesley, Mitchell, Whitehouse, Seaton, I-House, Dean)

  1. Students should find a Residential Life staff member to let them into their residence room. Student will be asked to provide proof of identity such as ID and staff member will need to verify the student is assigned to the room where admittance is being requested.

  2. If a student can not find a Residential Life staff member, then the student needs to call Campus Safety at x1234 and request access. Campus Safety will be dispatched to student's room. The Dispatcher will be able to estimate for a student how long it will take for an officer to arrive.
