Unconventional comedian Rosman performs tonight; From Clown College to the college circuit, Rosman juggles a comedy/circus act

The Stack may not recover after tonight, as it hosts an interactive comedy show which combines circus feats, flying food, and the funny antics of Clown College graduate Micheal Rosman.
Rosman will bring his off-the-wall comedy to Albion at 8pm tonight, performing in the Stack as part of Union Board’s “Friday Night Live” series.
His is an atypical act that has included strange balancing acts requiring the assistance of a life-size dummy. Rosman’s audience-engaging acts often have volunteers doing things from catching his juggling ammunition to catching the comedian himself as he falls off his 6-foot unicycle.
Rosman is known for his exceptional skills in juggling with cigar boxes. His unique performance includes catapulting bananas into a blender hat to make daiquiris (or milkshakes in our case) and has been accompanied by the use of many other strange props.
Rosman is a 1988 graduate of Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College. There he acquired his exceptional juggling skills and his off-the-wall personality. “He is quite a character and he puts on a great show. You won’t want to miss it,” said Dan Fingas, Marshall freshman and Union Board Vice President of Comedy.
Peter Coleman, Traverse City sophomore and Big Apple Circus juggling course graduate, is a big fan of Rosman. “Rosman is quite an inventive juggler,” Coleman said. “He doesn’t confine himself to conventional objects and he takes juggling to a new level that most people could never imagine.”
Rosman has taught juggling and clown classes while continuing his own studies. Rosman performs for colleges, corporations, and families across the United States and around the world. Don’t miss his free show tonight at 8pm in the Stack, and who knows? Maybe you’ll be part of the act.
