Physics Scholarships at Albion College

The Physics Department at Albion College has three scholarships available for the 2008-09 academic year for current and incoming students who intend to major in physics or participate in the dual-degree engineering program. 

• The Alumni/Faculty Endowed Physics Scholarship is established through gifts
   from alumni and faculty to honor new or returning students who intend to major in
   physics or pursue the pre-engineering track.

• The Dorothy and David Kammer Scholarship in Physics was established by the
   Kammers to support highly qualified current and incoming students who are
   considering a major in physics.

• The Charles W. Ricker Scholarship in Physics was established by Helene Ricker
   to honor an incoming student, with exemplary academic record, who intends to
   major in physics. 

These scholarships are academic awards and are not based primarily on financial need.  They may be granted in addition to other eligible financial aid.

One application will serve for all scholarships. If you have not already done so, you should also apply for admission to Albion College.  We would be happy to meet with you on a visitation day or any other day you can visit campus.  Final selection will be made after all application material has been reviewed.  The deadline for applications is March 15, 2008.
