'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown' Opens Creative Doors at Albion College Print E-mail

ALBION, Mich. — A beloved theatre classic gets a few new ideas from Albion College theatre major Amanda Dekker, with her direction of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." The musical runs from Wednesday, March 18 through Friday, March 20, at 8 p.m. each evening in the Albion College Herrick Center.

"This is a children's show written for kids, but I didn't want to just leave it at that," explained director Dekker, who has worked on more than a dozen Albion College productions. "We're trying to draw parallels between the adult 'inner child' and when we were kids. Something that made us cry when we were little isn't important now, but that doesn't mean it was never important. We're acknowledging that different things are important at different times in our lives."

Admission to "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" is free, but seating is limited and reservations are encouraged. To reserve seats, please contact the Albion College Theatre Department at 517-629-0344 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
