College’s chapter of Kappa Delta sorority wants to help kids and your
own taste buds with their Shamrock event on Saturday, Feb. 23. An
all-you-can-eat pancake brunch will be held in the campus’s
International House from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The charity event supports the Calhoun Child Abuse/Neglect Prevention
Council and Kappa Delta's national philanthropy, National Prevent Child
Abuse America. "The pancake brunch seemed to be a good event in which
people would be willing to come, have a good time with good food and
good company, while supporting a great cause," said event co-organizer
Patty Solecki. "We especially like the fact that 80% of our proceeds
stay in Calhoun county where we go to school."
Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. For more information,
contact either of the co-chairs at the event, Solecki at 517/629-1078
