Chang (a junior from Ann Arbor/Ann Arbor Pioneer High School), Nakamura (a senior from Miyazaki City, Japan), and Yoshikawa (a senior from Kalamazoo/Hackett Catholic Central High School) were the only students from a Division III accredited program to advance to the final round of competition. The Albion squad tied a team from Grand Valley State University in the final and the Britons were edged in a tiebreaking question.
"We are so proud of this team," Carol Moss, the clinical education coordinator of the athletic training education program who accompanied the Britons on the trip to the seminar, said.
