Kristin Nelson is currently one of Albion’s most accomplished track and field athletes, holding the school records in the long jump, triple jump, and the 400-meter dash. As the Iron Mountain native heads into the final weeks of her Albion career, she is not only looking forward to breaking some of her own records, but also to attending graduate school at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Ill., where she will pursue a chiropractic degree next fall.

"Albion is my home! What better way to give back to this wonderful community than interning with community leaders who are committed to improving the economics and quality of life right here in Albion?" Albion College President Donna Randall has announced she will conclude her presidency at the end of her six-year term on June 30. The Board of Trustees has asked Randall to continue on as the College's chancellor through June 30, 2014. The board is actively recruiting an interim president for the 2013-14 academic year and is launching a national search for the College's 16th president.
As chancellor, Randall will focus on three critical areas: fundraising for the library and athletic complex renovations, development of educational partnerships, and national advocacy.

An all-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association and all-region performer in cross country, Albion College senior Amanda Weaver always aims to reach the finish line as quickly as possible. The speedy process of landing a place in her top choice for graduate school – from completing the application in January to interviewing and accepting in February – was surprising even by her standards.
A Marshall product, Weaver has confirmed her acceptance to the clinical exercise physiology program at Ball State University. She will be just one of six students accepted into the program out of a pool of 50 applicants, and she is on track for a career in cardiac rehabilitation.
