An a PoeticVisionTour evening of Islamic music and poetry comes to Albion, as Albion College's Muslim Student Association presents the PoeticVisionTour traveling company Thursday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the College's Kellogg Center.
The PoeticVisionTour travels throughout the U.S. with a unique blend of music and poetry, from traditional folk songs to hip-hop. It brings the audience into the performance by providing lyric books that allow for group singing and discussion about the lyrics. The Tour is intended to help non-Muslims engage, appreciate, and enjoy music and poetry from diverse Muslim countries and practices.
