Area Children Invited to Winter Carnival
Children up to age 12 and their parents are invited to enjoy a Winter Carnival hosted by Albion College Student Athlete Advisory Committee, set for Saturday, December 1. The fun begins at 1 p.m. and the Carnival runs until 4 p.m. at the Dow Recreation and Wellness Center, located south of the intersection of Hannah and East Erie Streets.
Kids will be entertained with crafts, food, games and face painting. Parents are encouraged to bring their camera when their children visit Santa.
While there is no admission charged for the event, monetary donations and donations of non-perishable food items are welcome. The donations will be used in the making of Christmas baskets that Briton student-athletes will give to needy families.
