Chapel Sponsors Human Trafficking Awareness Event
Providing education and activism against human trafficking in the U.S. and abroad, Albion College Chapel hosts an awareness event Wednesday, November 7, in the Albion College Kellogg Center. This event is part of the student-led Chapel Wednesday evening service.
A guest from the organization Women at Risk, International will share information about human trafficking and ways that individuals can help combat this criminal practice. Women at Risk will also be selling jewelry is made by women who have survived and been rescued from the sex/slavery trade in various parts of the world, including the U.S.
Chapel's worship service will begin at 9 p.m.
