Whitehouse Tells 'Haunted Houses' Tales for Albion College Odd Topics

The October Odd Topics Society Luncheon is scheduled to be held at noon on Wednesday, October 24. Jim Whitehouse ’69, discusses “Haunting Houses.” It will be an examination of how people relate to their homes.

Whitehouse has been a newspaper columnist for 25 years, writing two humor columns each week for a number of newspapers in southern Michigan. He attended Albion College and received his J.D. from the University of Toledo. He practiced law in Lenawee and Hillsdale Counties for 20 years and worked as a Major Gift and Planned Giving fundraiser for another 20 years.

The Odd Topics Society provides individuals with an opportunity to share their more unusual interests with others. The Society meets for lunch at noon in the Mary Sykes Dining Room in Baldwin Hall on the fourth Wednesday of the month. The discussions are open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend. Reservations are not required.
