Disposition Codes:

D1 Open Pending: Case is open and pending further follow up or investigation.

D2 Closed (Criminal): Case is closed by arrest or the case has been turned over to law enforcement agency.

D3 Closed (Administrative): Case is closed and turned over to the college judicial process.

D4 Cleared: Case has been investigated and it has been determined that an offense occurred, but the victim does not wish further action be taken.

January 4th

6:18 pm  HARASSMENT:  Incident occurred in Seaton Hall. Disp: Cleared.

January 6th

11:58 pm  NOISE COMPLAINT:  A report of loud music in Seaton Hall.  Officers arrived and the residents complied and turned down the music. Disp: Cleared.

January 13th

5:37 pm  LARCENY:  A coat was reported missing form the Dow Center with keys in the pocket.  The coat and keys were found in another location.  A student reported her I-pod had been stolen from the Dow Center on Monday January 11th. Disp: Inactive

10:05 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of someone outside the Ingham Annex making noises.  Officers found no one outside but found that there was a noise coming from the heater. Disp: Unfounded.

January 16th

8:23 am  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A male was seen going a window at Tau Kappa Epsilon.  He was identified as a member of the fraternity. Disp: Unfounded.

January 17th

3:08 pm  REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED:  A male was found going through the dumpster at Wesley Hall.  He complied and left campus. Disp: Cleared.

3:15 pm  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A student reported being approached by a female asking for money, near Dean Hall.  Officers searched the area and found no one fitting the description. Disp: Cleared.

January 18th

12:40 am  MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:  A broken window was reported at Tau Kappa Epsilon. Disp: Inactive.

2:15 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A student was approached near Whitehouse Hall by a woman in a car wanting to know of a safe place to stay in Albion.  The student advised the woman to go to Campus Safety.  The woman acted suspicious and drove off.  Officers searched the campus and could not find the vehicle. Disp: Cleared.

8:35 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  There was a report of a marijuana smell in Wesley Hall.  Officers did a complete walkthrough and could only find the smell of cigarettes. Disp: Unfounded.

January 19th

2:47 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A student reported her empty purse missing from her room at Munger Apartments.  She called later to reported that she has found it. Disp: Unfounded.

January 20th

11:40 pm  NOISE COMPLAINT:  Loud music was reported at The Mae.  Officers spoke with residents and they complied and turned down the music. Disp: Cleared.

January 21st

8:32 pm  FIRE:  A report of smoke at the Welton House.  Officers arrived and found that smoke was filling the building and all students were out.  ADPS was called, there was no fire but something wrong with the furnace and the gas was turned off. Disp: Cleared.

9:13 pm  ILLEGAL DRUG VIOLATION:  Incident occurred in Wesley Hall. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

January 23rd

3:20 pm  FIRE EXTINGUISHER/MALICIOUS DISCHARGE:  A fire extinguisher was found in a tree, in the yard of a city resident living near Wesley Hall. Disp: Cleared.

9:38 pm  SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE:  A vehicle was found with the back door open and unlocked.  The items inside seemed alright.  The door was shut and secured. Disp: Unfounded.

11:33 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A light was on inside a house on Erie Street.  Officers did a complete walkthrough and everything seemed alright. Disp: Unfounded.

January 24th

12:00 am  DISTURBANCE:  An unwanted student was removed from Sigma Nu. Disp: Cleared.

12:45 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A car was found in Lot 1 with the parking light on and the doors unlocked.  Officers turned off the lights and locked the doors. Disp: Unfounded.

1:24 am  ALCOHOL VIOLATION:  Incident occurred at Tau Kappa Epsilon. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

2:15 am  IRRESPONSIBLE STUDENT ACTION:  Incident offurred at Delat Tau Delta. disp: closed (Administrative).

3:17 am  SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE:  A car was found in Lot 8 with the dome light on and the door open.  The vehicle was secured. Disp: Unfounded.

7:13 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A car was found in Lot 23 with the trunk open.  There was nothing inside and there was no record of the owner. Disp: Unfounded.

7:41 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  Two unwanted males were seen on Cass Street heading east.  ADPS was notified but could not locate them. Disp: Cleared.

January 25th

1:05 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of a female driving a van through the fraternity area and asking for money.  ADPS was notified. Disp: Cleared.

1:15 am  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A female was seen wandering by the gate to the Munger parking lot.  She did not gain access to the lot and moved on. Disp: Cleared.

January 26th

1:34 am  SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE:  A van was seen on campus and the driver was asking students for money.  ADPS was notified. Disp: Cleared.

8:05 am  NOISE COMPLAINT:  A report of a dog barking in Whitehouse Hall.  The RD was contacted and she advised that she is dog sitting for a few days. Disp: Unfounded.

January 28th

1:13 am  SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE:  A car was seen in the drive at the red Erie House.  A visitors pass was found inside the house. Disp: Unfounded.

5:30 pm  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A man was reported wandering in the Ferguson Building.  He was identified and said he had been hired by the public school to find mentors.  He was given the names of people he should contact and left campus. Disp: Unfounded.

January 29th

12:29 pm  TRESPASSING:  A woman was around Vulgamore Hall, asking for money.  Officers located her on Michigan Ave and she was barred from campus. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

10:45 pm  SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE:  A car was parked over in hour in the drive at Wesley Hall.  The owner finally moved the vehicle. Disp: Cleared.

January 31st

1:24 am  ALCOHOL VIOLATION:  Incident occurred outside Alpha Tau Omega. Disp: Cleared (Administrative).

2:09 am  ALCOHOL VIOLATION:  Incident occurred at Wesley Hall. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

5:32 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A non-student female had fallen on the train tracks and was brought to Delta Sigma Phi.  Albion City Police were contacted. Disp: cleared.

February 1st

1:05 am  ASSIST ADPS:  An off-campus student reported a woman had tried the door handle to her house.  City Police were contacted. Disp: Cleared.

8:21 pm  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A male was reported hanging around he front door of Whitehouse Hall.  Officers responded and found he was waiting for a student. Disp: Unfounded.

10:47 pm  REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED:  A non-student who has been barred, was at the front of Wesley Hall.  Officers called ADPS. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

February 2nd

2:13 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A vehicle was found in Lot 23 with the trunk open.  The owner arrived and spoke with oficers. Disp: Unfounded.

3:35 pm  MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:  A students vehicle was parked in Lot 8 and there was a large dent on the side. Disp: Unfounded.

3:37 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  An employee reported two juveniles sliding down the ramp at Facilities.  Officers arrived, checked the area but the kids had already left. Disp: Cleared.

February 3rd

12:14 pm  VEHICLE ACCIDENT:  Incident occurred in Lot 8 and a witness was able to identify the vehicle that left. Disp: Cleared.

9:10 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  There was a report of a wood burning smell in Putnam Hall.  Officers did a walkthrough and found nothing.  It was found that a residence nearby was burning wood. Disp: Unfounded.

February 4th

5:52 pm  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A male was reported in front of the library and seemed suspicious.  Officers arrived and spoke with him and he complied and left campus. Disp: Cleared.

February 6th

1:17 am  NOISE COMPLAINT:  A report of a group of students being loud outside The Mae.  Officers arrived and found four student smoking and talking and said they would quiet down. Disp: Cleared.

1:27 am  NOISE COMPLAINT:  A report of loud music at The Mae.  Officers arrived and the residents complied and turned the music down. Disp: Cleared.

February 7th

1:32 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  The back door to Delta Gamma was found open.  Officers found two students inside and secured the door. Disp: Unfounded.

6:32 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: A students vehicle was found in Lot 18 with a door standing open.  Officers secured the car and emailed the student to check the vehicle. Disp: Unfounded.

February 9th

1:43 am  NOISE COMPLAINT:  A report of students yelling outside The Mae.  Officers found no one in the area. Disp: cleared.

11:20 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of a hot smell in the basement of Goodrich Chapel.  Officers did a walkthrough and the smell was gone and everything was alright. Disp: Cleared.

February 12th

4:10 am  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  An employee reported someone watching her while standing in the trees on the Quad.  Officers arrived and found footprints but no one was in the area. Disp: cleared.

1:09 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A smell of natural gas was reported outside the Admissions Building.  Facilities used a meter and found everything alright. Disp: Cleared.

6:02 pm  REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED:  Kids we playing and digging tunnels on the piles of snow in Lot 4.  Officers arrived, spoke with them and they complied and left campus. Disp: Cleared.

10:14 pm  ILLEGAL DRUG VIOLATION:  Incident occurred in Wesley Hall. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

February 13th

12:15 am  NOISE COMPLAINT:  Loud music was reported at Briton Apartments.  Officers arrived and the residents complied and turned the music down. Disp: Cleared.

1:55 am  NOISE COMPLAINT:  Loud noise was reported at Burns Street Apartments.  Officers spoke with residents and they said they would quiet down. Disp: Cleared

February 14th

11:18 pm  LARCENY:  An item was taken from the Visual Arts Building.  It may have been taken to go sledding on.  Officers went to the sledding hill, found the item and returned it to the Art Building. Disp: Cleared.

February 15th

2:25 pm  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A report of a male using a key to get into a female's room in Wesley Hall.  He was identified as a boyfriend and had been given the student's key for the room. Disp: Unfounded.

February 16th

1:28 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  Lights were on at the President's Guest House.  Officers found no one inside and turned off the lights. Disp: Unfounded.

1:07 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A student reported being asked for money while walking to class.  Officers found the van parked at a house on Burns Street.  Albion Police were notified. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

11:30 pm  ALCOHOL VIOLATION:  Incident occurred at Mitchell Towers. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

February 20th

1:14 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of a large group in the fraternity area looking like they were going to fight.  Officers arrived, found everything was alright and it was a pledge week activity. Disp: Unfounded.

11:12 pm  ASSIST ADPS:  Officers found a damaged vehicle at Lot 34 and there was no information on file.  Officers found that it belonged to a non-student who ran into a train. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

February 21st

2:16 am  MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:  A broken stairwell window was found at Delta Sigma Phi. Disp: Inactive.

2:24 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A non-student was found passed out in Wesley Hall.  It was found that he was staying with his girlfriend, who is a student. Disp: Cleared.

2:37 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of a suspicious person standing outside a room in Wesley Hall.  Officers did not locate him. Disp: Cleared.

February 22nd

11:25 pm  HARASSMENT:  Incident occurred in Wesley Hall. Disp: Inactive.

February 23rd

8:05 am  VEHICLE ACCIDENT:  A college vehicle hit an employee vehicle while at a Dow Center lot. Disp: Cleared.

12:37 pm  VEHICLE ACCIDENT: A college vehicle hit an employee vehicle that was parked on Cass Street. Disp: Cleared.

February 26th

12:32 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of students being loud, going room to room in Wesley Hall.  Officers arrived and found no one doing this. Disp: Unfounded.

February 28th

12:38 am  DISTURBANCE:  There was a report of a fight near Robinson Hall.  Officers arrived and found they were "wrestling around", there was no fight and everyone was alright. Disp: Unfounded.

12:44 am  DISTURBANCE:  A report of a couple arguing near the Kellogg Center.  Officers arrived and found the couple were arguing but there was no physical threat. Disp: Cleared.

1:05 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  An alumni class poster was found in frat alley.  It was returned to the appropriate fraternity. Disp: Cleared.

1:50 am  REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED:  A student noticed a man acting suspicious while at Munger Apartments.  Officers arrived, found the man and he had no reason to be on college property.  He was barred from campus. Disp: Cleared (Criminal)

8:50 am  DAMAGE TO PROPERTY:  A window was found broken at Alpha Tau Omega. Disp: Inactive.

March 4th

2:20 pm  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A report of a man on a bike going through the dumpsters behind Whitehouse Hall and Seaton Hall.  Officers arrived and found no one in the area as described. Disp: Cleared.

2:23 pm  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A report of an older man, who seemed very irritated, asking where the library was.  Officers found the man in the library, who said he was an alumni. Disp: Cleared.

March 5th

4:07 pm  REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED:  A report of a man going through the dumpster behind Baldwin Hall.  Officers arrived and saw him riding his bike away from campus. Disp: Cleared.

4:52 pm  DAMAGE TO PROPERTY:  A student had her vehicle parked in Lot 26 and the drivers side mirror was broken off. Disp: Inactive.

5:11 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of a strange alarm noise coming from the telephone equipment room in the Ferguson Building.  Officers did not hear any noise and everything seemed to be in working order. Disp: Unfounded.

7:44 p  ILLEGAL DRUG VIOLATION:  Drug paraphernilia was found in a room in Sigma Chi. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

March 9th

4:00 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A student reported someone had been in her apartment.  Officers found that Facilities had been inside doing some work. Disp: Unfounded.

March 10th

3:45 pm  REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED:  Two skateboarders were using the Munger Parking Lot.  Officers spoke with them and they complied and left campus. Disp: Disp: Cleared.

March 15th

8:42 pm  DISTRUBANCE:  A report of a possible fight in Lot 2.  Officers arrived and found four juveniles being loud and playing around.  They complied and left campus. Disp: Cleared.

March 16th

12:08 pm  REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED:  A report of a known barred subject in Frat Alley.  Officers saw him leave campus and ADPS was called. Disp: closed (Criminal).

March 17th

9:47 pm  ALCOHOL VIOLATION:  Incident occurred in Tau Kappa Epsilon. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

10:42 pm  NOISE COMPLAINT:  Loud music was reported at Munger Apartments.  Officer spoke with the occupants of a room and they complied and turned down the music. Disp: Cleared.

11:44 pm  MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:  A section of fence was found on the ground at Munger Apartments. Disp: Inactive.

March 18th

2:18 am  FIRE:  Some papers had been burned on a bulletin board in Whitehouse Hall.  A fire extinguisher had been used to put it out. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

2:47 am  NOISE COMPLAINT:  Students were reported running and yelling in the halls at Wesley Hall.  Officers arrived and found the halls quiet. Disp: Cleared.

3:40 am  ALCOHOL VIOLATION:  Incident occurred with a student at Whitehouse Hall. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

5:40 am  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A report of a man with a stick, poking around on the ground and picking stuff up in Lot 24. Disp: Cleared.

6:48 am  MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:  Holes were found in the walls of the north stairwell of Munger Apartments. Disp: Inactive.

March 20th

2:24 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of a man running down the city street, yelling for help.  ADPS was already aware of the situation and responding. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

2:38 am  TRESPASSING:  A student was outside Wesley Hall with someone who has been barred from campus.  Officers arrived and the barred subject ran off. Disp: Closed (Criminal)

3:30 am  ALCOHOL VIOLATION:  Incident occurred with a non-student in Seaton Hall. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

3:30 am  IRRESPONSIBLE STUDENT ACTION:  Incident occurred in Seaton Hall. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

12:00 pm  FIRE EXTINGUISHER/MALICIOUS DISCHARGE:  Incident occurred in Whitehouse Hall. Disp: Inactive.

3:08 pm  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A former Dow member who has not paid to renew his membership was at the Dow Center working out.  As the officer arrived, he left out the back door. Disp: Disp: Cleared.

March 21st

2:15 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A large number of people, mostly non-students were coming out of Sigma Chi. Disp: Cleared.

2:17 am  ASSAULT AND BATTERY:  Incident occurred between a student and non-students on near the fraternities. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

2:51 am  NOISE COMPLAINT:  A report of a loud group of students in Wesley Hall.  Officers did a complete walkthrough and the area was quiet. Disp: Cleared.

March 23rd

3:40 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  Employees reported that they had left the lights on in Stockwell Library, had left and returned to find them off.  Officers did a walkthrough, everything was alright.  A professor had turned them off when he left the building. Disp: Unfounded.

2:00 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  An employee had seen a duffle bag on the floor in the entry to the Ferguson Building when arriving to work and it was still there.  Officers arrived and found it empty and there was no identification inside. Disp: Unfounded.

March 24th

9:08 pm  VEHICLE ACCIDENT:  A student's vehicle hit into another students vehicle parked on the street in front of the fraternities. Disp: Cleared.

March 25th

2:30 am SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  Officers heard glass breaking near Frat Alley.  A broken bottle was found but there was no damage to property. Disp: Cleared.

2:37 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  There was a report of 3 student leaving the library, who said they had been locked inside when the cleaning crew arrived.  Officers did a walkthrough and everything seemed alright. Disp: Cleared.

8:43 am  MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:  A broken window and screen was found in Robinson Hall.  Everything else seemed alright. Disp: Inactive.

March 26th

12:30 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A loud noise was reported coming from door next to Baldwin Hall.  Officers found it was the cooler. Disp: Unfounded.

11:40 am  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A student reported concern about another student in Seaton Hall.  Officers spoke with her and everything was alright. Disp: Unfounded.

March 27th

4:50 am  SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE:  A van was seen repeatedly driving up and down Hannah Street.  When officers tried to get the drivers attention, he vehicle left campus eastbound on Michigan Ave. Disp: Cleared.

October 7th

1:44 am  NOISE COMPLAINT:  A loud group was on the porch at Sigma Chi.  They complied and went inside. Disp: Cleared.

7:15 pm  ASSIST ADPS:  ADPS asked for help to contact a student in Wesley Hall.  The student was not in his room and a message was left. Disp: Assist Provided.

8:54 pm  LARCENY:  A students laptop was stolen from the Science Complex. Disp: Inactive.

11:54 pm  ASSIST ADPS:  ADPS made contact with a student at the front of Wesley Hall. Disp: Cleared.

October 12th

6:20 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: Two bikes were found near the fieldhouse at the Dow Center and there was no one around.  Officers arrived and found the bikes gone and were advised 3 kids had gotten on them and left. Disp: Cleared.

6:37 pm  REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED:  Three juveniles were reported wandering in the Science Complex.  Officers arrived and found them near the clocktower.  They complied and left campus. Disp: Cleared.

October 13th

5:52 pm  LARCENY:  A wallet was stolen in Olin Hall. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

October 14th

1:52 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of a student in the Kellogg Center who told the janitor he had no where to go.  Officers arrived and he complied and left the building. Disp: Cleared.

6:26 pm  IRRESPONSIBLE STUDENT ACTION:  A student tried to use another students ID card at Baldwin Hall. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

8:13 pm  ILLEGAL DRUG VIOLATION:  Incident occurred in Wesley Hall. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

11:53 am  ILLEGAL DRUG VIOLATION:  Incident occurred at Burns Street Apartments. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

6:00 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A former member of Tau Kappa Epsilon was reported to be trying to get inside. Disp: closed (Administrative).

October 16th

8:15 am  VEHICLE ACCIDENT:  A college vehicle backed into a student vehicle while at the Equestrian Center. Disp: Cleared.

9:32 am  FAILURE TO COMPLY:  There were four incidents regarding academic honesty. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

10:43 pm  DISTURBANCE:  A report of a couple fighting in Lot 18.  Officers arrived, spoke with them and everything seemed alright.  Disp: Cleared.

12:05 am  ILLEGAL DRUG VIOLATION:  Incident occurred in Whitehouse Hall. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

11:15 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of a possible theft from the Eat Shop.  Officers arrived and spoke with the student, and found everything to be alright. Disp: Unfounded.

October 18th

10:41 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A work truck was found in Lot 4 with the doors locked and haszrd lights on.  Officers found they were loading concrete near the old church. Disp: Unfounded.

October 19th

10:25 pm  HARASSMENT:  There was a report of a gay pride flag burned behind Wesley Hall.  Officers searched and could not find any evidence that this had occurred.  There has been no other information obtained. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

October 20th

6:25 pm  LARCENY:  A student reported her cell phone had been stolen while she was at the library. Disp: Inactive.

October 22nd

12:51 pm  DIVERSITY/DISCRIMINATION:  Incident occurred behind Wesley Hall in reference to the burning of a gay pride flag. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

11:48 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  Three students were found in Lot 24, after being seen on the football field.  There was a smell of marijuana in the area. Disp: Cleared.

8:41 am  MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:  A window was broken at Delta Sigma Phi. Disp: Inactive.

October 25th

10:36 pm  NOISE COMPLAINT:  There was a report of people being loud at The Mae.  Officers arrived and spoke with the residents who said they would quiet down. Disp: Cleared.

11:28 pm  NOISE COMPLAINT:  There was another report of loud noise at The Mae.  Officers arrived and told them to quiet down. Disp: Cleared.

October 26th

10:46 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  There was a report of a hissing noise in Vulgamore Hall.  Officers found that the thermostat had come loose from the wall, it was put back on and the noise has stopped. Disp: Unfounded.

October 27th

1:11 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  Officers followed a trail at the Nature Center, looking for some student who had possibly gone into the woods.  Officers found no signs of anyone in the area. Disp: Cleared. 

12:30 pm  LARCENY:  College issue laptop is missing from Olin Hall. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

4:56 pm  VEHICLE ACCIDENT:  A student hits another students vehicle while trying to park in Lot 1. Disp: Cleared.

6:48 pm  REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED:  Two juveniles were at the Dow Center, had not signed in and refused to leave.  Officers found them playing basketball with a group who the coach had signed in. They were allowed to stay as long as they didn't cause any trouble. Disp: Unfounded.

11:00 pm  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A report of an older man, outside Baldwin Hall looking in the doors.  Officers arrived and found no one in the area.  Disp: Cleared.

October 28th

9:53 pm  MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:  A students vehicle side window was broken out while it was parked on Bidwell Street. Disp: Inactive.

October 29th

12:53 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  Three students were observed on camera, running in/out the door at Wesley Hall and holding it so others could not get in.  Officers arrived, the students had already left the area and everything was alright. Disp: Cleared.

October 30th

3:10 am  MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:  A students vehicle received scratches to the front bumper while parked in Lot 8. Disp: Inactive.

October 31st

1:08 am  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  Officers spoke with someone who was walking between the cars in Lot 23.  They found he was a student who was walking home. Disp: Unfounded. 

1:11 am  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  There was a report of someone looking into the vehicle parked in Lot 18.  Officers found a student on his cell phone.  He had been walking around to get cell phone service. Disp: Unfounded. 

3:06 am  ALCOHOL VIOLATION:  Incident occurred in Wesley Hall. Disp: Closed (Adminisstrative).  

3:20 am  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  Officers saw a group of people in Wesley Acres.  They were identified as students out for a walk. Disp: Unfounded.

4:45 pm  SMOKE/ODOR INVESTIGATION:  A report of the odor of gas in Wesley Hall.  Officers reported a smokey smell outside the building and a similar odor inside, but no source was found.  The building was later rechecked and the odor had dissipated. Disp: Unfounded.

11:35 pm  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A report of a man pacing on the road near the Equestrian Center entrance.  Officers arrived and found no one in the area and the building was secure.Disp: Cleared.

10:15 PM  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of a marijuana smell in the stairwell at Seaton Hall.  Officers arrived and could not locate any smell. Disp: Unfounded. 

November 6th

7:10 pm  SMOKE/ODOR INVESTIGATION:  A report of cigarette smoke at Wesley Hall.  Officers did a walkthrough and could not smell any smoke. Disp: Cleared.

November 7th

1:55 am  NOISE COMPLAINT:  Loud music was coming from Tau Kappa Epsilon.  They complied and turned the music down. Disp: Cleared.

November 8th

10:47 am  LARCENY:  Three student's had there I-Pods stolen from their rooms in Mitchell Towers on Halloween. Disp: Inactive.

November 9th

7:36 pm  HARASSMENT:  Incident occurred with a student in Wesley Hall. Disp: Cleared.

November 10th

2:30 pm  LARCENY:  A student reported that three weeks ago, his ID card, KC keys and room keys stolen from his room in Sigma Chi. Disp: Inactive.  

9:18 pm  NOISE COMPLAINT:  A report of loud noise near Delta Tau Delta.  Officers found the fraternity area quiet. Disp: Cleared.

November 11th

11:12 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  Officers heard screaming, possibly from the Quad.  Officers found students on the Quad who also heard it, but thought it had come from somewhere east.  The area was searched and no one was found and no more screaming was heard. Disp: Cleared.

November 12th

10:09 am  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  There was a male with a cart, knocking on doors in Vulgamore Hall, trying to buy books.  Officers found he is a book buyer and is known to staff member.  He does this throughout the year. Disp: Unfounded.

5:40 pm  MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:  A student's vehicle had been keyed, while parked in Lot 1. Disp: Inactive.

5:10 pm  ASSAULT AND BATTERY:  A student reported being pushed last night while at Alpha Tau Omega. Disp: Cleared.

November 16th

12:43 pm  HARASSMENT:  A student reported being threatened by her non-student boyfriend. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

November 17th

12:41 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:   A staff member was at Kresge Gym and reported there were non-student playing basketball and appear to be getting angry, and is afraid there might be a fight.  Officers arrived and found they were leaving the building. Disp: Cleared.

4:26 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A possible smell of marijuana in Whitehouse Hall.  Officers walked throught and did not find anything. Disp: Unfounded.

November 18th

12:44 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of four student behind Seaton Hall, being noisey and possibly intoxicated.  Officers could find no one in the area. Disp: Cleared.

12:48 am  FIRE ALARM:  The alarm was activated at Wesley Hall.  Officers found it was caused by students burning food in the kitchen.  Disp: Cleared.

10:43 pm  LARCENY:  A student's bike seat was stolen while it was chained to the rack at the Dow Center. Disp: Inactive.

November 19th

12:50 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  An employee reported several scratches on her vehicle that was parked in Lot 19.  She is not sure where or when they happened. Disp: Inactive.

9:55 pm  ILLEGAL DRUG VIOLATION:  Incident occurred with students at Delta Tau Delta.  Disp: Closed (administrative).

November 20th

8:55 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  Eleven vehicle had their gas caps removed, while parked in Lots 8 and 12.  Officers thought the vehicles were alright but the students were emailed and asked to report any problems. Disp: Inactive.

9:14 pm  VEHICLE ACCIDENT:  A dentist office employee reported a vehicle had backed into her car that was parked in Lot 28 and then took off. Disp: Cleared.

6:53  pm  FIRE:  A student reported she had use an extinguisher on a kitchen fire at the E-House, but was not sure it was out.  Officers and ADPS arrived and found that the fire was out. Disp: Cleared.

November 22nd

2:00 am  DISTURBANCE:  A report of a male and female arguing on the Quad.  Officers searched the area and could not find anyone. Disp: Cleared.

November 23rd

12:48 am  SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE:  A report of an older man, sitting in a car near the library entrance.  Officers arrived, searched the area and could find no one as described.

November 28th

4:17 pm  VEHICLE ACCIDENT:  A student reported bumper damage to her car that was parked in Lot 24 over break. Disp: Inactive.

November 29th

6:49 pm  SUSPICIOIUS SITUATION:  A student was walking near the Octagon House and heard what sounded like an emergency whistle.  Officers checked the area and found there was a noise coming from a chiller at Facilities that could be mistaken for a whistle. Disp: unfounded.

11:16 pm  ILLEGAL DRUG VIOLATION:  Incident occurred in Wesley Hall. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

November 30th

4:16 pm  ILLEGAL ENTRY:  A non-student male was in Whitehouse Hall, knocking on doors.  Officers and ADPS found him at the corner of Hannah/Porter Street. Disp: Closed (Criminal). 

5:03 pm  HARASSMENT:  Graffitti was found in Wesley Hall. Disp: Inactive.

23:51 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of students possibly smoking marijuana, at the back of Whitehouse Hall.  Officers found no one in the area. Disp: Unfounded.

10:10 pm  LARCENY:  A student had left her laptop in Goodrich Chapel.  When she returned, it was gone. Disp: Unfounded.

10:14 pm  REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED:  An employee was suspended and not suppose to be on campus for a week.  Officers found her behind Health Services, spoke with her and she complied and left campus. Disp: Cleared. 

December 3rd

1:55 pm  HARASSMENT:  Graffiti was written on a sign in Wesley Hall. Disp: Inactive.

2:42 pm  NOISE COMPLAINT:  A report of loud music behind The Mae.  Officers found a car with the music very loud.  The driver was a student who turned the music down and also left the lot..  Disp: Cleared.

7:55 pm  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A report of a man at a picnic table near the Grounds Building.  Officers arrived but there was no one in the area. Disp: Cleared.

11:46 pm  NOISE COMPLAINT:  Loud music and arguing was reported at The Mae.  Officers found several people in a room and advised them to quiet down. Disp: Cleared.

December 6th

8:46 am  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A report of a male walking into Mitchell Towers, behind a student saying he had lost his keycard.  Officers did a complete walkthough and spoke with staff but could not find anyone matching the description provided. Disp: Cleared.

9:45 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A staff member reported some items missing from his office in the Science Complex.  He later said he found the items in a lab. Disp: Unfounded.

December 7th

8:28 am  LARCENY:  A menorah is missing from the Kellogg Center. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

2:08 pm  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  Two men were reported by the dumpsters in the Science Complex parking lot.  Officers arrived and the men had left and were seen walking off campus.  Disp: Cleared.

2:28 pm  MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:  A student had parked in vehicle in Lot 4 and someone had keyed the drivers side.  Disp: Inactive.

4:02 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A possible marijuana smell was reported at Wesley Hall.  Officers did a complete walkthrough and did not find any suspicious smells. Disp: Unfounded.

December 8th

9:00 am  VEHICLE ACCIDENT:  A student reported hitting another car while leaving the lot.  The other student was contacted.  Neither vehicle had been damaged. Disp: Cleared.

December 9th

4:15 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of eggs being thrown at the Delta Tau Delta building.  Officers saw a couple eggs that had been thrown but there was no damage, suspects or witnesses. Disp: Cleared.

11:11 am  LARCENY:  A laptop was stolen from a students room in Wesley Hall. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

11:49 am  LARCENY:  A laptop was stolen from a students room in Alpha Tau Omega. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

December 10th

12:16 am  MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY:  A report of a bottle thrown and window broke at Delta Tau Delta. Disp: Inactive.

December 11th

1:00 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report from a city resident that while at Lot 24, a man was seen in cammo overalls getting out of a truck with an empty gun case inside.  Officers found no vehicles in the lot and also checked the surrounding area.  The area was secure. Disp: Unfounded.

December 14th

1:30 pm  SMOKE/ODOR INVESTIGATION:  Officers noticed the odor of natural gas in the mail room at Delta Sigma Phi.  There was an old gas grill inside but there was no tank.  Facilities was notified. Disp: Cleared.

 December 28th

7:10 pm  ASSIST ADPS:  Incident occurred with a staff member at Wesley Hall who was threatened by a pizza delivery man. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

January 11th

8:35 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  Five students were seen in the Dow lobby after it had been locked.  Officers spoke with them and found they had been let in by their coach and there was going to be a team meeting. Disp: Unfounded.

January 12th

11:26 am  LARCENY:  A Dow members wallet was taken from a locker at the Dow Center. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

January 16th

11:25 pm  ALCOHOL VIOLATION:  Incident occurred with a student outside Delta Tau Delta. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

January 17th 

8:17 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  In Lot 24 Officers found the rear passenger door was ajar on a vehicle.  Everything seemed alright and the student was emailed to check the vehicle. Disp: Unfounded.

 8:59 am  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  In Lot 28, Officers found the door slightly open on a vehicle.  Everything seemed alright and the student was emailed to check the vehicle. Disp: Unfounded.

January 19th

9:12 pm  SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A report of a male non-student looking for empty bottles near Mitchell Towers.  Officers arrived but could not find anyone as described in the area. Disp: Cleared.

January 21st

9:56 pm  DAMAGE TO PROPERTY:  The glass case that holds the fire extinguisher in south Mitchell Towers has been broken. Disp: Inactive.

11:44 pm  ALCOHOL VIOLATION:  Incident occurred with a student in Wesley Hall. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

January 22nd

12:38 am  ALCOHOL VIOLATION:  Incident occurred with a student who was brought to the Campus Safety Office.  Disp: Closed (Administrative).

1:18 am  REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED:  A report on some non-students who refused to leave Alpha Tau Omega.  Officers arrived and they complied and left campus. Disp: Cleared.

January 23rd

12:19 pm  VEHICLE ACCIDENT:  Incident occurred to a students vehicle parked in Zone 1 sometime between Jan 17 - 22. Disp: Closed (General).

5:36 pm  SUSPICIOUS SITUATION:  A report of some juveniles in the Dow Center without the member being with them.  Officers arrived and solved the problem.  Disp: Cleared.

January 25th
