October Odd Topics Packs a Punch

The October Odd Topics Luncheon guarantees excitement. Dr. Robin Goodfellow will discuss her experience as a ringside physician for U.S. Amateur Boxing in her speech, “U.S. Amateur Boxing: It’s a Good Thing.” The luncheon will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at noon in Albion College’s Baldwin Hall Mary Sykes Dining Room.

Goodfellow is the director of the certification course for the Board of Ringside Medicine, and was the first woman on the international medical commission. She will be discussing her experiences with amateur boxing, what she does to keep the sport safe, and about her experiences traveling both nationally and internationally with the sport.
