Personal Environmental Ethics Presentation Hosted by Gerstacker, EI

Paul M. Murray, Director of Environmental Safety and Sustainability for Herman Miller, Inc. Murray will discuss his innovative work for Herman Miller and his ideas for individual citizens on Wednesday, Nov. 5.

Dance Concert Puts 'Moving Portraits' on Display

"All of the pieces are telling some kind of story about someone," said dance program director Heather Vaughan-Southard of "Moving Portraits," Albion College's 2008-09 Dance concert. Performances take place November 20-23.

Great Lakes, Fantastic Books: Michigan Authors Visit Albion

The Albion College 2008-09 Reading Series, Read Local!, a celebration of home-grown literature that explores what it means to live and think in Michigan, continues on Thursday, Nov. 6, with two authors: John Rybicki and Bonnie Jo Campbell.

Muslim Student Association/Arab Club Join for Dinner



On Thursday, Nov. 6, the Muslim Student Association and the Arab Club will host a dinner in Albion College’s Gerstacker Commons (the Stack). The dinner will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The dinner will be catered by Sultan’s of East Lansing, and entertainment will feature a belly dancer and a Henna artist.

"This dinner is a great way to get people of all ethnicities together to share in amazing food and culture, in an atmosphere that is fun and exciting," said Arab Club member Christa Scott. "Arab Club and MSA are separate groups but have come together for the first time to bring to the campus and community Middle Eastern traditions, with belly dancing, henna tattoos, and great authentic food.
