Advising Notes

  • Major courses/prerequisites to complete in the first year: E&M 101, MATH 125, ENGL 101

  • Major courses/program requirements to take no later than end of second year: Stats Cognate (MATH 209) and Intermediate Economics Cognate (E&M 230 – fall only)

  • Major courses/program requirements to take no earlier than third year: Philosophy (all Ethics courses given are at the 300 level)

  • Ths academic program is intended as an example only. Individual student schedules will vary depending on specific career goals and needs. Typically a few of the courses shown here in the sophomore year will slip to later in a student's program.

  • Certain core courses are needed to fulfill Albion College graduation requirements. Refer to the Albion College catalog for your year of entry for more information, or talk with your academic advisor.


Internship Notes

  • Two internships are required; they are formal, one-unit courses which count toward graduation.

  • Students may have the opportunity to complete their first internship in the spring semester of the sophomore year or the second semester of their junior year. Both internships should be completed no later than fall semester of senior year.

  • The Center for International Education offers many exciting opportunities to complete an internship as part of a study abroad semester.
