Julie Hopkins joined Enlighten in June 2006, acting as Enlighten's sole strategist since May 2007. She provides internet strategy consulting services to corporate clients, working most recently with brands such as Jergens, Bioré, Curél, John Frieda Hair Care, Ban Deodorant, National City, Discovery Kids, and Pittsburgh Paints.
Julie began her career based in Atlanta in Management Consulting as part of Ernst & Young's Data Warehousing practice, serving companies in the Telecommunications space. Julie left consulting to return to graduate school, opting to trade a career in high-tech professional services for high-tech industry work. She spent 4 years in Silicon Valley in software product management, working first for Siebel Systems (then the market leader in Customer Relationship Management solutions), then as the Director of Product Management and Product Marketing for Quova, Inc. Julie received a BA in Sociology and Markets and Management from Duke University in 1996, and an MBA from Harvard Business School in June 2002.
