1/20/2009 - Across the District of Columbia Tuesday evening, January 20th, 2009, people reveled in the glow of inaugural balls. Not to be outdone, the Ford Institute sponsored its own Inaugural Ball that same evening. More than 90 people attended, including Fordies and their guests, as well as Albion College President Donna Randall, Provost Susan Conner, and their spouses. Upper Baldwin Hall was transformed into an elegant ballroom.

Popcorn, Pajamas, and Propoganda Movie Night

4/3/2012 - As part of the Ford Lecture Series, the Institute hosted a documentary movie night for all Ford students. The evening's screening was The City Dark. A large screen was set up in Upper Baldwin Hall and students laid on big pillows and sleeping bags. Popcorn and drinks were provided as students enjoyed the film.
