| Congratulations Verna Lafayette, for being awarded the Dining & Hospitality Services Employee of the Month for August 2007. Verna has worked for Albion College since January 2005. She is very reliable and is always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. Verna has been a strong asset to Dining & Hospitality Services and to Albion College. Both her managers and co-workers think highly of her and always know she can be counted on. |

| Jim Sobel has been employed by Albion College since April, 2000. Initially Jim was a Maintenance II assigned to the Whitehouse and Seaton Hall residential areas. As such he consistently received excellent ratings from both students and staff living in his buildings. More recently he has been promoted to Maintenance/Technician III and assigned to the Science Complex. In this new role he has done an exceptional job in learning a new building with new technologies and has developed positive relationships with faculty and staff. Jim has also made contributions in a variety of other areas. He organized a fund-raiser for an employee in need. He builds high quality furniture from recycled materials to be auctioned off as a College fund-raiser. He worked out of his normal assignment (along with others) in preparing Briton Manor for our new President and family in an exceptionally tight time frame. Congratulations to Jim as employee of the month. Excellent employee. Caring fellow worker. Active supporter of Albion College. |

| Todd Tekiele has been with Albion College for a year now and in that year he has worked hard to make some amazing changes in our Dining and Hospitality services. Among the changes are those fantastic smoothies at the Eat Shop and the great salad selection. Todd is a dedicated employee who always has a friendly smile for everyone he sees. He is a valued member of the Dining and Hospitality team and is respected by his employees. Congratulations Todd! |
