WHY?
Choosing to develop your spiritual life at Albion College is one of the best decisions you can make. On a professional level, graduates who have undertaken a spiritual journey leave with a foundation that supports their work in any career. On a personal level, a depth of spirituality helps graduates grow the strongest friendships and marriages, along with a resource for a life of personal growth.
At Albion College, spiritual life is embraced in all its diversity. For many students, this means developing a philosophy of life and spiritual practices that do not include being religious. For others, religious practice and identity is central. Regardless, Albion College nurtures a welcoming, inclusive community, where you can be sure to find kindred minds and souls.
THE BRIDGE
The Bridge is Albion College's spiritual life leadership group, coordinating interfaith life under the purview of the Office of the Chaplain. Members of The Bridge learn valuable skills in interfaith and intercultural communication, group development, programming, and a practical understanding of the role of belief in society. These skills support future careers in all disciplines. For more information, contact the Office of the Chaplain at This email address is being protected from spambots. CHRISTIAN LIFE
CHAPEL
"A Place for Grace" ... The Christian body on campus gathers on Wednesday nights to experience student-led contemporary worship, Christian unity, prayer, and fellowship, along with messages from student speakers/preachers. This is a wonderful, unique-to-Albion phenomenon. Serving on the Chapel leadership team offers a unique opportunity for developing ministry skills, intercultural and ecumenical communication, and understanding of group development. Chapel is an outreach of the Office of the Chaplain. For more information, contact the Office of the Chaplain at
