Gaining Experience

If you have not yet considered gaining experiences outside of the classroom, take a minute to review the information on the Internships page. You will stand out in your field if your résumé includes experiences that demonstrate a knowledge and commitment to the profession. Work in a profession, in conjunction with your academic classes, broadens your exposure to specific careers and provides general skills important to employers – and may provide a significant leg-up on getting a job!
