In-State Territory: Southern Michigan including: Kalamazoo, Van Buren, Berrien, Cass, St. Joseph, Branch, Hillsdale, Lenawee, and Monroe Counties;

Out of State Territory: Indiana

Meet Vicky...

Education: B.A., Physical Education, Albion College, 1989

Hometown: Albion, MI

Favorite Albion Moment: I would have to say my freshman year. During one of those all night gab sessions, where you have all kinds of different people, from all different walks of life, with different ideals and backgrounds, and you meet in a study lounge and just start talking about everything. This is one of those unique out of the classroom learning experiences that you can only get while living on a residential campus. An experience that begins your realization of a pluralistic world and makes you start to question your own values and beliefs.

Hobbies: During the summer I enjoy playing golf...but during the regular school year, my hobbies are chasing my three kids around to their sporting events!

Favorite Season: Most definitely summer!

Favorite TV Show: Hands Down - Friends

Best Vacation Spot: My family and I vacation every year on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. My husband and I don't feel the need to do anything other than soak in the sun, and the kids are plenty happy staying in the ocean.

What Makes Albion College Special to You: There are so many reasons that Albion is special to me that I couldn't possibly list them all, but here are a few: The community is very caring and supportive, the relationships that I have built have carried through the years, the stellar liberal arts education that I received has supported my career changes in my adult life, and the wonderful memories of life as a students makes my job as an admissions counselor a whole lot easier!

Best College Search Tip: VISIT, VISIT, VISIT... There is no other way you are going to be able to find out if you 'fit in' on campus unless you actually go out and visit your top choices. You are the one who is going to have to live in the residence halls, go to classes, and eat in the cafeteria - you might as well go and take a test drive!

About Albion

The Albion Advantage. It's the liberal arts. It's career readiness. It's providing you the knowledge, skills, and experiences you'll need to succeed in college, in your career, and in your life.
